Lush Haul/Review

Lush are by far one of my favourite skincare companies!

Here are a few reasons why:
* No animal testing
* 100% vegetarian
* Products contain little or no preservatives
* Use little or no packaging

I recently topped up on some old and new treats from lush!

Bubblegum Lip Scrub

This is a must for first time Lush buyers!! I am in love with all of Lush's lip scrubs but this one is definitely my favourite! I use this on myself anytime I have dry cracked lips and it works a treat! If you have a sweet tooth you will adore this product as it has a sweet candy smell and taste.

Pros:
* Great exfoliate
* Amazing bubblegum scent
* Moisturising due to jojoba oil
* Cruelty free
* Vegan

Cons:
* Can be messy to use (couldn't pop in your bag to take out)

Ingredients: - caster sugar, organic jojoba oil, alpha isomethyl ionone, flavour, colour 45410, colour 45380.

Let the good times roll cleanser

I've used many cleansers from Lush (Angels on Bare Skin, Dark Angels and Ocean Salt) but I find this works best for my skin. I have dry skin and I've been searching for ages for an exfoliating cleanser that isn't too harsh but still does the job at removing dead skin cells. This is it! I am a huge fan of the sweet smelling scents from Lush and this doesn't disappoint. I find myself opening the tub and smelling it even if I'm not using it...does anybody else do this? I would describe it as being a mixture of fudge, honeycomb and popcorn. AMAZING.

Pros:
* Gentle exfoliate for face
* 'To die for' scent
* Leaves skin silky smooth without a residue
* Vegan
* Cruelty free
* Love how you make it into a paste yourself

Cons:
* Messier than normal cleansers as you mix it into a paste (still love it though)
* Smell can become sickly if you smell it for too long ;)

Ingredients: - maize flour, glycerine, talc, water (aqua), corn oil, polenta, fair trade organic cinnamon powder, perfume, gardenia extract, popcorn

Ultrabland facial cleanser

This is amazing for dry skin and breakouts! I use this whenever I am having problems with my skin or when I've fallen asleep without removing my make up (bad I know). It's super hydrating and clears up my skin in a few days. It smells like what's in the title...bland. It doesn't have a distinct smell like other products Lush sell but it doesn't smell bad either. I use this all over my face and then use a different cleanser for my eyes as I prefer something a little less thick.

Pros:
* Tiny amount needed
* Removes make up well
* Creamy, smooth texture
* Hydrating
* Vegetarian society approved
* Cruelty free

Cons:
* I have to use a toner as it leaves a waxy residue
* Takes longer to use than facial wipes or liquid cleanser

Ingredients: - Almond oil, rose water, beeswax, honey, fresh iris extract, glycerine, rose absolute, tincture of benzoin, methylparaben, propylparaben.

Eau Roma Water

This is a great toner for people with dry and sensitive skin. I used to use the 'Breath of Fresh Air' toner but I prefer this one as I find it doesn't dry out my skin as much. I like to use this after the Ultrabland cleanser to remove any residue. It has a nice floral and calming scent.

Pros:
* Great for sensitive and dry skin
* Relaxing floral scent
* Leaves skin feeling fresh
* Doesn't dry out skin
* Vegan
* Cruelty free

Cons:
* Leaves skin feeling a little sticky when wet but then dries in.

Ingredients: - lavender water, rose water, limonene, linalool,perfume, methyparaben.

9 to 5 Facial Cleanser

This is my quick fix cleanser as it's fast and easy to use and helps to put moisture back into my dry skin. I prefer liquid cleansers over facial wipes as some wipes tend to dry out my skin. It's a very light cleanser and doesn't leave an oily residue so I can use it and then jump straight into bed. It doesn't have an overpowering smell and removes my make up well.

Pros:
* Subtle floral scent
* Calming and moisturising for dry skin
* Faster than Ultrabland to use
* Light, fresh cleanser
* Leaves skin feeling silky smooth
* Vegan
* Cruelty free

Cons:
* None!

Ingredients: - Water (aqua), almond oil,stearic acid, fresh dove orchid extract, everlasting flower absolute, ylang ylang oil,triethanolamine, cetearyl alcohol, perfume, methylparaben, propylparaben.

Volcano foot mask

This is the first Lush product I don't think I would purchase again, sorely for it's smell. The mask itself  is thick and moisturised and left my feet feeling soft but I feel I may need something a little more heavy duty for removing dead skin. I'm really not a fan of whatever it is in the product that makes it smell the way it does and it really puts me off it.

Pros:
* Leaves skin soft
* Vegan
* Cruelty free

Cons:
* Smell (doesn't appeal to me)
* Leaves feet feeling softer but doesn't completely remove dead skin cells

Ingredients: - kaolin, pumice, limeflower and cleaver decoction, fresh tomatoes, fresh papaya, potatoes, glycerine, bentonite gel, menthol crystals, lemon oil, cinnamon leaf oil, eugenol, benzyl benzoate, limonene, linalool, perfume, methylparaben, propylparaben.

I hope you enjoyed my Lush review! I will be doing another review on their bath melts/bombs soon so keep a look out for that!
